Quantum computing exploits principles of quantum mechanics to process information in ways that classical computers cannot efficiently replicate. While a classical bit is either 0 or 1, a qubit can exist in a superposition of both states simultaneously. When multiple qubits are entangled, their states become correlated in ways that have no classical analog, enabling quantum algorithms to explore exponentially large solution spaces in parallel.
